Dancing Rainbows, like all my CDs, has a healing intention. It is the first solo CD I made in 2010, although I had made other meditation recordings before. When I began this work, I allowed the names of the tracks to come into my head first, and that gave me an indication of what I would be recording when I entered the studio. I was extremely surprised to learn that this was to be about the creation of the Universe and the beginnings of life on our beautiful blue planet! I heard the ‘Sounds of the Universe’ in my head and tried to recreate them using my universal gong. Some years later I listened to sounds recorded in space by NASA, and was amazed to hear the same sounds that I had already heard and tried to produce.

Early in the year 2012 I travelled to Guatemala. During this time I made ceremonies with various Mayan shamans, and was deeply touched by their living connection to Mother Nature and the Sacred Feminine energies. This CD combines the sounds of crystal bowls with sounds from nature, which I recorded myself whilst in this wonderful country. I feel it is very important to honour Mother Earth and our connection to her. The. CD also contains light codes to help with the powerful frequency shift which we have been, and still are experiencing.

Afew years ago I was introduced to a wonderful musician called Ignacio Bejar, who has studied extensively with Turkish Sufi musicians who use an ancient form of oriental music therapy. I invited him to come round and play some music. Five hours later, it was obvious to both of is that it worked. We formed the duo Akasha Sound and began to give improvised concerts, allowing healing energy to flow through us in the form of sound. We decided to go into the recording studio, not knowing exactly how this would work out. Once again, spontaneously, five completely different pieces of music emerged by themselves, taking the listener on a magical journey through sound.
